 Description:  The Illinois Department of Transportation today announced that lane restrictions will be encountered on IL-255 from I-270 to IL 143 beginning Monday, July 9, 2012, weather permitting. These lane restrictions are necessary to install rumble strips on the existing shoulders next to the edge of pavement. These closures will begin after 9:00 a.m. and be reopened by 3:00 p.m., daily.
